Cold Weather Concreting - Keeping concrete warm and cozy in the winter months

The ACI NE Ohio Chapter invites you to join us on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at 6pm at Harry's Steakhouse in Independence, Ohio for a presentation on Cold Weather Concreting.

Presentation Description:
Join us in welcoming Mr. Eric King, President of Summit Testing & Inspection Company, for his presentation on Cold Weather Concrete. The presentation will discuss:
      *Current definition of cold weather
       *Reasons and ways for protection of concrete during cold weather
       *Ways to verify the length of time needed for protection

Speaker Bio:
 
Mr. Eric King is the President of Summit Testing & Inspection Company with over 30 years of experience in special inspections, construction materials testing and concrete trouble shooting.  He is a former member of ACI 306 “Cold Weather Concreting” and 311 “Concrete Inspection”.  Additional he also participated with ASTM committees regarding concrete testing.
