Course Content:

• Both the written and the performance exams for the aggregate testing and strength testing will be given on the same day. The written exam for the Strength Testing is a one (1) hour closed book exam, and the Aggregates it is a two (2) hour open book exam. Please refer to the ACI International website for additional details for these two certification programs.

• Please note: this program will not include any review on the written portions but will offer a hands-on review of the applicable specifications for the aggregate and strength practical test. *ASTM standards are not included in the workbook or provided at the review session.

• An individual has one (1) year to pass both the written and performance portion of the test to achieve full certification with ACI.

PPE Requirement:

• Individuals are required to wear proper PPE to the review and examination sessions.

• Proper PPE includes: safety glasses; gloves; safety work shoes (steel toe preferred). No flip flops, crocs, tennis shoes, dress shoes, etc. Remember, individuals are required to wear proper PPE to the review and examination sessions. Master Builders Solutions kindly asks you to make sure your shoes are not muddy when you arrive to the facility.

• Not having the proper foot attire WILL result in the registrant not being allowed to take the practical test.

Covid Protocols:

In alignment with CDC and Local Health Department guidance, MBS is revising their local masking requirements to the following:

• Masks will no longer be required to be worn within the Beachwood site, regardless of vaccination status.

• Individuals who voluntarily wish to wear masks may continue to do so.

Course Fee:

• $435.00 per person for Northeast Ohio ACI Chapter Members for ONE test (Strength or Aggregate)

• $750.00 per person for Northeast Ohio ACI Chapter Members for BOTH tests.

• $500.00 per person for Non-Members for ONE test (Strength or Aggregate)

• $850.00 per person for Non-Members for BOTH tests

• $182.00 for each Written or Practical Retest

• No calls/no shows for the examination will forfeit their registration fee and will have to reregister and submit payment again.

**Should you reschedule continually within one year's time, and a full year passes from your original application date, you will be required to pay the initial course fee again.

PAYMENT MUST BE RECEIVED PRIOR TO EXAM DATE for all individuals and companies that register with ACI NE Ohio Chapter. If payment is not received, the examiners have the right to deny the individual the ability to take the exam.
